Fighting That “I Have Nothing To Wear” Feeling

Usually getting dressed is an easy task, most of the time we have already visualized what we want in our minds but there are times when you have no idea what you want and that internal battle of “I have nothing to wear” that us women know so well begins. We put this kind of stress on ourselves because our clothing is our introduction to the world, it is the first thing people notice when you walk into a room.
And even though style is something very personal, there are some foolproof looks that look amazing on all of us. Here are some outfits that might be lifesavers when you don’t know what to wear.

Shorts and Blazer
Shorts can be usually perceived as a teenager statement piece, but when you add another piece like a statement blazer you create a more sophisticated and pieced together look. Add shoes or boots that match the jacket to create harmony between the pieces and add accessories to enhance the outfit.

Jersey and Jeans
Any type of jeans fits this style perfectly well, mom, skinny, bootleg, anything you can think of. Add a body and a sweater to elevate the look, and if you want to take it a step further you can add some heels and statement jewelry.

Basic Tank Dress
This is a closet staple, if you don’t have one we recommend you get one because this is a style you’ll be using more than once. This style is more commonly worn during summer but there are several ways that it can be adapted for other seasons.

Total Black
When in doubt wear black, not only is it a slimming color but it also is simple and quick. It can either be a LBD or some shorts and a t‑shirt and you’re good to go. What we would do is add some cowboy boots and you’re set.

The Knitted Dress
This dress is the perfect option when you don’t know what to wear, you will look put together and you won’t lose the comfort at all. You can pair it with tennis or with some low casual heels if you want to dress it up a bit, just make sure the dress stays the protagonist piece.
